Comments about Line Skis Stepup:
The newly redesigned step up is a huge improvement from the first model. It has a very natural flex that gives you confidence when skiing into any park feature. It holds it's ground at high speeds. It's stiff enough to hit big jumps and playful enough to be a fun jib ski. The step up has become my favorite ski to have in the park by far.

Comments about Line Skis Stepup:
For the many who were distraught when the Chronic was discontinued, the Stepup really is a vindication. Slightly stiffer in the nose and tail, but with a similar flex profile, the Stepup provides a level of control and edge hold that is unrivalled in a softer ski. As always with Line park skis, there is a decent sidecut, which, alongside an extruded base, mean the ski is confined to the park and urban settings. But for those tasks, the Stepup excels. Super stable on rails, as well as on the biggest booters, the Stepup should be the park rat's tool of choice.

Comments about Line Skis Stepup:
I use them on park mostly and they are stable at bigger jumps and on rails.
Great thing is that they are great for spinning and landing smooth. And realy good skis for urban stuff.
They are to stiff if you land on tails and they are pretty heavy but that helps at spinning though..

Comments about Line Skis Stepup:
For the 2010/2011 year, I have been using both the 2011 Line Shadows and the Soulsister Full Tilt boots. I am very pleased with both products.
The skis are buttery and easy to maneuver. They aren't too stiff, yet just stiff enough. They are excellent for park and I wouldn't recommend anything else!
As for the Soulsister boots, I was a little nervous at first. They seemed stiff and unlike any park boot I have ever stepped foot in. However, once I got them broken in... they were like heaven strapped onto my feet. They hold their form very well and I just love them!
Pros
- Great natural flex
- Large tail for steep land
- Quick edge to edge
- Stable at High Speeds
- Switch riding
Cons
- Extruded base
Best Uses
- groomers
- Halfpipe
- Park
Comments about Line Skis Stepup:
I immediately loved this ski when I tried it out for the first time. I had been on the Cronic in years pass, and liked the flex but wanted something with a symmetric tip and tail construction. The StepUp was completely symmetrical and had a recommended center mount, which I loved. Skiing switch has never been so easy. Also, I like the stiffer flex in the StepUp versus the Afterbang for bigger park jumps and higher speeds.
